Correct Oil for Mariner 5hp 2003?

I bought a second hand Mariner 5hp 2 stroke, manufactured in 2003 (Belgium).

It has a sticker on it (nor original) saying 100:1 oil mix, but looking through the User Manuals from the Brunswick site, I can't quite work our which is the correct one for the 2003 manual.
The 90-10102R30 manual shows:
"After the break-in fuel mixture is used up, use a 100:1 (1%) gasoline/oil mixture
in engines used for pleasure applications. To provide additional protection for
commercially used products, a 50:1 (2%) gasoline/oil mixture is recommended"

But the 10102050 manual reads:
"After the break-in fuel mixture is used up, use a 50:1 (2%) gasoline/oil mixture. Refer to the table (following) for mixing ratios."

I read somewhere that using a 100:1 mix instead of 50:1 makes the engine run hotter.
I also notice that the previous owner has a BPR6HS, rather than the specified BPR7HS-10 as specified in the manual.

Wondering whether those two things could be connected?

Any help would be appreciated.

run it at a 50:1 and put the recomended spark plugs in,remove the 100:1 sticker you should have no problems on a 50:1 mix , that was the mix i used to run and test OBMs when i worked, i may smoke a little but a bit extra oil is good

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it.

Can anyone confirm exactly which is the correct User Manual for the 2003 model, just to make sure I get things right in the future?

if you look back on some recent issues you will see that i have given instructions to get (hopefully) to down load an owners handbook. Please ignore the fuel mix instructions that are in the book and always run on50:1.I have had this conversation many times over the years, always 50:1

Some of the old Yams were recommended as running on 100:1, while the same motors in Mariner clothes were recommended at 50:1

I wouldn't run a pre-mix 2-stroke at 100:1, irrespective of what it says in the manual.

I still stand bye what I said ,throw away the 100:1 decal always run at 50:1 you might get a bit of smoke but you will be running with more oil inside the p/head which will not harm it in anyway
