Deep scratches in Merc outboard cover!

Okay polished her up this afternoon between down pours! How can I remove these scratches and get it looking reasonable again?

One solution aim afraid, it's very deep looking,

Prep paint n decals, unless you can get away with masking em off decals that is

Unless you are happy to get a paint it from halfords and hide as best as possible that way lots of faffing tho

I'd be inclined to leave it original if it were mine. Maybe replace the White Mercury decal and white 75 but its only a scratch, no need to re-spray IMO

Okay thanks, tempted to leave it as is. No sooner you repair a scratch, you find more to repair!

Can anyone recommend where to get the decals from?

Can only find American sites.

This guy should be able to help you out, he can copy most items,
I personally do not have time to sit at a puter or our guys could produce it also,
