Does anyone else get the feeling that this will be a long thread?

I'll contribute something more useful later

Must be done tonight, he has an exam in the morning and wants his study done! Perhaps a contribution from Rumpelstiltskin?

no rush - got to do a presentation on the subject in 2 weeks and already got a list of subjects, thoughts and comparions as follows....

Benefits
Perfromance
Safety (i.e. more than one engine)
Pitch
Installation
Power/weight ratio's
Maintenance/access for maintenance
Replacement
Deseil (red)
Jets ?
Volvo/mercruiser vs. Evinrude/suzuki
Commercial vs. Lesuire preferences
Tracking (counter rotation)
Intial Outlay
Running costs (will two engines be twice the running cost and one- which seems logical)

etc ? can anyone share some light on the above or add anymore considerations ?

Are you seeking opinion on these various power options in an early '90s Narwhal NK520 environment?

Use spell checker before your presentation.

You'll find the Ribnet [Search] button very useful too - most of these topics have been well covered on here previously.
