For me the link opens to a workshop manual with electronics diagnostics, engine and gearbox stripping, power tilt hydraulic diagrams, special tools, specs to an engineering level of detail and so on. I'm not sure what more you could want?

Hi tried to get through using the link provided. It comes back. No page available. I don’t use a computer only my phone. As read somebody else got same problem ti used computer. Said sorted. Then ?
I’m after a Manuel, for my Mercury 90 Hp two stroke 6 cylinder outboard. 1972. Blue band
My problem
Some kind people stole my ignition key part of switch ffom remote control box on side of my rib
Leaving me with x5 wires soldered go the inside metal round plate. Fitted inside ignition barrel housing
Rather large about two inches in diameter old wiring. Orange white black yellow red. Purchased new Mercury switch. But all now have x6 wires to the base plate
I’m stuck I’ve rang Marin’s workshops nobody can. Or will tell me. Which wire goes where on the new key switch
So. I thought would try download a free Manuel
Give it a shot for nothing
Can you help at all in my possibly. Attaining the download section. As currently. It’s not working for me
I’ve noticed quite a few members had this problem as read. Thank you kind regards. David. Much appreciated indeed thank you

Ps my outboard. Well known old model nick named tower of power Mercury outboard (900) 90 hp

Mercury outboard two stroke 6 cylinder 90 hp

Does anybody have a owners Manuel for this outboard of mine
I had my ignition key start switch stolen
Left me the ignition base plate with x5 wires soldered to it
Red/ white/ black/ orange /yellow
5 wire to base plate.
Purchased new Mercury ignition switch /key
But it is a 6 wire switch pre wired
And colours don’t match
Different. As has violet( purple)/ . Black / yellow black stripe/ Red / red. Yellow stripe black white stripe
Hoping to find out which wire goes where by accessing. Such owners Manuel either hard back
Prefer to download if possible
Or. Better still
Has anybody got a 1972. Ignition switch. / five wires to its base plate. That I can purchase. So just need to splice the wires together I’m back in business

Any possible help will be much appreciated indeed
My best contact text. 07518 802606
Thank you
David.
