Engine Question- Zodiak ProJet 350 Yamaha 80Hp- Help?!

We need to replace the Gasket on the Yamaha 80Hp engine that is in our 1999 Zodiak ProJet 350 Inflatable... I have looked everywhere. Does anyone know what specific gasket this is, or where I could find one? I have tried MANY dealers in the US, and no one can point me in the right direction... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

There's lots of gaskets in an engine. Best go back to whoever told you it needs replacing and ask which one!

What sort of gasket is it? Often people use silicone or RTV instead on many types of gasket - or make one from waxed paper.

I would hazard a guess that there is more than one gasket in the engine.

Knowing which would help in pointing you to a source, but there are places that carry a wide range of parts and may be able to help you. For a start:

Shipyard Island Marina

and

YamahaOutboardParts.com

If you have the Yammie outboard with the jet conversion, they both should be able to help.

You may be able to find the parts on one of the exploded parts lists available on the Yamaha website:

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/parts/home.aspx

Luck;
