I made it against rules. They advice to remove prop before.
I have used some cheap plastic pond (cheap but good - after season sale)

Main idea was to avoid noise. In water E-tec sounds fantastic, without is noisy.

I have used ICON gauges (RPM).

Quote:
1) Stabilize the engine’s fuel supply. Add 2+4
Fuel Conditioner following instructions on
container. Fill fuel tank.
2) If winterizing on a trailer, remove the propeller.
Attach a garden hose to flushing
port and turn on the water. Refer to Flushing
on page 46.
3) Outboard must be in NEUTRAL, and remote
control and shift linkage must be in
NEUTRAL position at all times during winterization
procedure.
Process:

Quote:
To winterize the engine, enter the SYSTEM menu, then:
1.) Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select WINTERIZE.
2.) Press and hold the MODE button to enter the selection.
The LCD screen will display message "PERFORM WINTERIZE?".
3.) Press and hold the MODE button to enter WINTERIZATION.
The LCD screen will display the message "RECEIVING DATA TO START
THE PROCESS"
4.) When prompted, engage NEUTRAL only button on throttle and
advance the THROTTLE ONLY to at least 50%.
The LCD screen will display "WINTERIZE IN PROGRESS".
When complete the LCD screen will display WINTERIZE COMPLETE.
Do not adjust throttle or engine until winterization is complete and the
engine has shut OFF
A few minutes, full automatic process. Engine has stopped automatically on the end of process. Now she left to winter sleep

Something like this. Will check tomorrow. Cost was 20 GBP in nearest Garden market (but it was special promo offer like 60% off)
Sorry but mentioned above website is in Polish language. So it is regular garden pound I suppose. Not linear.

My "test tank" requirements are kinda special. After much fruitless searching I eventually constructed a wooden frame, filled it with 3/4" shuttering ply and lined it with lino, sealing the joints with Tec7. It is now a 300L tank and allows me to run up the plant wherever I need. Cost me buttons....

Ah! I see. I've got the opposite problem, 10bar water pressure. I have PRVs to stop water hammer & prevent the hose pipes exploding

I have opened Pandora box
But I spent few days also to find it (internet, garden, construction markets)
When I be back with this item keeping bill with really good amount as a shield my wife reaction surprised me: "oh are you going to do something in the Garden ..."
I wish to have more courage and tell her that it is boat only equipment ...

Back to winterization:

Quote:
After it keep engine in lower possible position to drain it properly
This is what manual stated.
