Evinrude 90 hp ficht ram injection

Hi All
Dos any one know the weight of these engines EVINRUDE 90 HP FICHT RAM INJECTION ?

Not sure as I have never tried using them for building work

The current e-tec which is the next generation of this type of technology is a superb engine for trawling and uses virtually no fuel when doing so.

However, I am not familiar enough with the Ficht RAM to be able to pass comment.

Hightower has the Ficht Ram I think. He does a lot of fishing off his Rib so contact him for his advice.

Trolling with a Ficht is no problem,
you just need to ask the skipper of the boat towing you to slow down

The power to weight ratio isn't great on these.

I'd recommend a delta or CQR.....
