Evinrude 90hp 1992 VRO pump

Hello Gents,
Has someone recently repaired a vro pump? I have the parts and want to know if there are some things I have to watch out for.
I believe in the vro pump so don't give me that I should pre mix. (Read the manual tels how to work with vro)
Engine is rebuild but have some fuel/carb problems. Evinrude manual talks about replacing pump and no instruction for rebuild. Only Oil part is not repairable

All tips are welkome

IF you look in a factory service manual on a 1998 or later motor, you will find the tests and the repair procedures for the "VRO" pump. To be fully accurate, it is an OMS pump, meaning oil metering system.
