Have any members of the forum had the 'no oil' warning light come on during operation of this model? If so what was the cause? Full tank of oil so it wasn't the obvious!

I don't know about boats but on vehicles the normal function of the oil pressure light (and indeed most other warning lights) is to indicate a failure in the sender unit and nothing else....
Hi Oceanpro,Yes i have had this problem on a 90 same block i beleive as the 115.In my case the warning light came up No Oil engine cut in on safe mode.It turned out to be a faulty sender it was under warenty so only lost time on the water.Whats your situation.I,ll pm you with my phone number or send me yours i,ll call you tomorrow evening .Regards Peter
