evinrude transom clamp bolt

Hello
I have managed to strip the threads on one of the transom clamps on an evinrude 15hp.......1981.

Any ideas as to the way forward?
Can you purchase just the one clamp and connect with the through/hinge bolt?

you mean put a nut onto the thumb-bolt, between the transom and the clamp?
If you did, how do I get the 'spreader' plate off the end of the thumb-bolt to get a nut onto it
