What would you do with the lower transom;

1- Install a short shaft motor.
2- Install a CMK capping piece and use the long shaft 55

(CMK capping piece will bring transom to 18.5”, would this be enough to stop the wash over you think ?)

Thanks for the November info. I’ll have to have a look.

Regarding the transom height, if you can build up the gap and cap it off, 18.5 would be fine. Go for it and use a long shaft.

Capping Piece - At that same auction I won a 55hp sea pro (Brand new) I just can’t find a Yamaha or equivalent 55+ HP 2 Stroke short shaft anymore, unless I build up an old Yamaha CES. When I spoke to CMK the reason that’s made the plate was to retrofit some of your military boats.
