For sale 60 hp Mercury two stroke

I have now replaced my old merc 60 2 stroke with an updated Yamaha 70
And are looking to sell the merc for a reasonable price based on the facts that’s it’s old but running ok, when last used, last November. I have some video of it running on my drive and going into gear pumping water etc.

Has the control box and new cables with it.

It’s in great condition with no corrosion has been maintained well with tons of receipts for spares and service items and a full factory/ merc workshop Manuel.

Do members think there will be interest?

Will try and put some pics up.

Theres always interest for older engines if its good & running well it will sell relatively easily & dont be shy on price if its a good one

Any suggestion on Price?

It has been suggested to me to ask 2K and see what happens.

If this is any guide I buy a lot of outboards particularly 2 strokes. Based on 4 engines I recently purchased if it is the Autolube version from about the year 2000 I would say expect to get around the £1,800 mark so yes ask £2,000
