FOR SALE MERCURY 3.3hp

I am putting this engine up for sale, it does run but when it didn't have much fuel in, when I then filled it up fuel just spurts about the bottom - I don't have the time or knowledge to fix it and was thinking about a replacement anyway, I don't have a clue what it's worth so sensible offers please, located in Winchester - collection only. Common on those engines, the float is jammed. Mines always done it. Clean it or a few light taps of a screwdriver handle to carb will sort it.

Yup.
I've got a Suzuki 2.2hp 2 stroke looks near identical to the Mercury 3.3hp.
Same issue with the carb float sticking.
Removed the carb drain screw whilstvat sea and fed in fresh fuel- worked temporarily.
Did it again about 30 mins later.
Keeps recurring.

Cleaned carb then ran some Redex thru the carb and it's going as sweet as a nut☺.
Cracking little engines for a Sib.
