I bought a 1993 Johnson 60hp from down the road this weekend but I had a hell of a time moving it myself until I figured out how to use the Range Rover to hoist the motor onto my wheeled motor stand
The motor has been sitting for three years but I got if fired up today. The main problem I ran into was that the carb float bowls were full of 2 stroke oil. Once I drained them and flushed the carbs out with sea foam deep creep spray (sprayed it into the drains until it came out of all the other holes in the carbs. Once this was done I hooked it back up to the fuel and she fired up and ran well. Looking forward to putting this motor on my Hurricane 440
