Fuel filler pipe

What's the best type of pipe to get for connecting deck filler cap to a tank?

Without sounding funny you can get proper fuel pipe, I'd use this as it'll take up any movement.

As long as their still warm....

Have a look on flea bay or some motorsport sites it comes in lots of different sizes. If you need aa short length "borrow" some off a car at a scrappy.

JSP

I,m sure you have got this covered, but I would also make sure that you have some sort of overflow/overfill trap between the cap & fuel line to tank

Dirk's right - Marine spec fuel hose is ISO7840. A 10m reel may be too much for your needs? How much are you looking for?

About half a meter at the most. I've yet to get the filler kit for the deck plate (standard plastimo one) so can take either 40, 50 or 60mm pipe.

What about the diameter of your deck filler? These tend to be 1.5" or 2"

Sorry just picked up your question, an example is the Splash-Stop, by Vetus. There are others out there, but the idea is to stop the fuel from surging back when the tank is being filled.

I hope link works, if not it is on page 100 of there online catelogue

Just don't pour the fuel in too quick and you'll be fine.
