Fuel hose internal bore

I am planning to renew the fuel hose on a Yamaha 115 two stroke. Can I replace with automotive Hose and what internal bore would I need, any ideas where to buy it?

Thanks dave

I've used automotive hose on boat fuel line and never had any problem. It's typically 8mm and available from most motor factors quite cheaply.

The best fuel line is the genuine Yamaha black line available off the roll at Yamaha dealers

Thanks for the advice about the yam fuel line, which I think is what’s used on it now as it’s original and still in pretty good condition. However, as it’s 26 yrs old I think it’s time to change it. I will go into my local motor factor and see what they have first before I speak to a yam dealer.

Thanks everyone.

Dave
