fuel in the water around my engine!

Yesterday I noticed some fuel in the water around my engine when the boat was at rest. Should I be worried about this, or is it just something that happens with old ish 2 strokes?

Thanks

Tim

Tim,, when you tipped the engine up I suspect some has run out of the carbs, but do check the fuel hose to be sure.

I did think of checking the fuel hose connection at the engine, but haven't done so yet. I noticed it when we got back to yarmouth, and that was after the engine had remained down to the whole trip back.

Could be oil residue from the exhaust fumes.
