Fuel line diameters

When I make up my fuel cable for the searider, I intend to fit it to the engine (70hp Johnson VRO), then to the fuel filter, then out, then have a connector for fuel cans.

Question is, what size hose should I be using? 8mm or 10mm? Haven't found any complete lines around, so was going to buy the bits from www.bosunsmate.co.uk and make it myself. However, he has 2 types of pipe (actually, he has lots, but he has 2 types that will fit the Johnson connector)

Which size should I go for?

8mm will be fine for a 70hp. 10mm will need alot of squashing with a hose clip to get a good fit on the fittings.

Suspected it was 8mm I wanted, but will e-mail Bosuns Mate when I have a full list of stuff I want to buy from him!
