Fuel vent

Hi guys iv just got myself a bombard 500 lovely rib but not owning a rib before am a bit wet behind the ears it has an onboard fuel tank do they vent automatically because iv looked and carnt seem to see how you vent it sorry if this may seem a daft question but am a novice and need a bit of help thanks

By 'onboard' do you mean a built-in or portable tank? Most (but not all) built-in tanks will have a vent line running to a vent fitting that doesn't need opening. Photo of typical vent fitting below. All portable tanks have closeable vents on the filler cap that need to be opened. Post a picture of your tank and filler and someone will confirm.Click image for larger version

If I remember correctly there is a vent on side of console.
