Gas mileage for 90 HP Yamaha 2 Stk.

Can someone give me an ideal of what the gas mileage would be for a Avon Seasport 545 with a 90 HP 2 Stroke Yamaha. (1994 boat & engine)

Thanks,
Mark

Mark hi, our club rib uses the 85 hp premix version of this engine on a humber 5.5m We recon on about 1 litre per mile at 18 knots with 4/5 divers and kit. With a bigger prop and less weight I would think the boat would eb capable of 25 knots but the fuel consumption would be similar.

Pete

90hp Fuel consumption

My 90hp Mariner 2 stroke on my 5.4m Searider uses about 0.9 litres per mile - generally only run with 2 up but tend to be doing 25+ knots.

Usually Yamahas are less thirsty than Mercs & Mariners. 1 lit/mile for this boat is more than the average. But if you want to be on the safe side you may do your calulations with this consumption.
