How many pins does your motor have on the main loom to the control box?

Is that a 225? It's a different loom at the clocks to mine.

The oil line with the brass joiner in it should be the oil line in from memory, and the bottom of the brass connector should be blocked off but again it's not the same as mine. The tank is in a different place.

Yeap, the little white filter is the oil filter so thats the oil line in. The other oil hose is the crankcase pressure from the bottom of the crank i think from memory its on the other side of the block. It uses block pressure to pressurise the bottle and force the oil out of the other end into the filter. If that makes sense!

It'll be 8 pin then. I've PM'd you a link to a wiring diagramme.

Mine's basically the smartcraft loom that plugs straight into the revcounter plug, plus the normal 8 pin loom.

Morning, I have now acquired a 115Hp Optimax (year 2000) and also need help understanding what wiring I have or have not got please could you also PM me the engine wiring diagram and smartcraft loom diagram.

Also the 2 x photos below show connectors not connected can anyone please tell me what they would have been for?

Bottom left photo came from splice off a smartcraft gauge wiring loom. Bottom right photo comes from starboard side of engine

Thanks

Gareth
