Honda 50hp

Managed to scrape all three blades on the prop (which came with the engine) on Friday reloading the boat onto the trailer at Salcombe.

Will be asking the engineers to clean the burs up when they service the engine this week, but thinking this is the time to try a stainless prop, and keep this one as a spare.

Any locals know where there is a dealer local to Salcombe / Kingsbridge who stocks a range or propellors - or am best taking the plunge with online?

Thanks

It took me months to source a cheap s/s prop (Ebay) for our BF50. At full RRP, I wouldn't bother.
If you wish to go for it, any Honda agent can order the required item, at a price.

From memory, a genuine alloy is around the £100, s/s £300.

Remember if you ding a SS prop you could damage the gearbox, alloy props are kinda sacrificial and much cheaper to repair.
