Honda 75hp ?

looking at a current model Honda 75hp engine, about 2 years old with low hours, will be used on inland lakes/rivers & light use,

any pros or cons with these engines ?

( had a 35hp Honda for about 10 years, many years ago, found it a very good engine )

Most of the fish farm boats (hundreds) around here use Honda engines. Also the Easdale ferries. You have to see them to believe how hard they're worked.

That was the reason I bought my 90hp, which I think is the same as the 75, but with a VTEC camshaft.

Very happy with mine. 120 hours to date.

Hi

you should hasve 4 years warranty left on it and it should have a service history and ask them to verify the hours as a diognostic check is v v quick. If this works out you are buying an amazing engine that we often see with 3000+ hours when used by fishermen etc.

oh it will come with a tacho and trim gauge as well

Enjoy
( fitting the honda 90 in 2 weeks to my own boat)
