Honda BF20 Skeg Measurement ?

Hi ,

Can someone post the measurements for the Skeg of the BF20 Honda outboard...?

Broke my skeg and want to get a sleeve fabricated instead of welding... as the welding needs the gearbox striped and may distort the case...

anyone got a better idea?

Not critical. It's prop protection, and a bit of rudder surface for low speed handling. So, pretty much whatever you want to put on is fine.

There are off-the-shelf skeg replacements around; though they're likely exactly what you're having made up.

Find one with a cooked head & buy the gearbox?
