Honda Marine cd....... access code

Hi Ribbers.....Just bought a used Honda 75 4-stroke. With it came a Honda marine cd (a copy), but when I loaded it on to my laptop up popped a window telling me it had a security seal. Without the access code (supposedly on the cd box which I do not have) I cannot read it, but the pop-up window gives some clues to the full access code. Can any of you ribbers help me fill in the 8 blanks. Here it is... 'C8F2 56C8 ???? ????' thanks.....Don

I had a brand new Honda 50HP installed when I bought by used rib, but they didn't supply a cd, Just a manual.
What is supposed to be on the cd?
Is it the manual in electronic format?

There was a guy selling cd manuals on ebay , obviously copies . they came with complicated instructions on how to open them .
It envolved quite a few processes on the Pooter including altering the clock and entering codes etc . I never got mine to work and sent it back .

Perhaps you have got one of these , they were selling for just a few quid so maybe you could get another , however the guys feedback did indicate the manuals were quite out of date so if its a faily new engine it could well be the wrong cd anyway.
