Hpdi oil problems

Hi,
Have a 150 yamaha hpdi engine approx 5 years old, recently oil is not being topped up to small tank on side of engine.
Have to use manual toggle switch on side of engine to top up oil.
So oil pump is working, but not keeping bottle topped up.
Any help or past experience appreciated
Cheers

I'm not familiar with the engine so could be talking b0110cks, but is there a float in the little tank thingy, i.e. how does it know if it's full or need topping up when it's working normally?

Ye there's a float sensor in each tank, they are both workin as far as I can see, coz when the engine tank gets low it alarms and reduces revs

hpdi oil problems

i ve had this before on the older yam 2 st and from what i remember it was a wiring issue, but i think my switch would not pump t oil, it may be the float in the main tank under t hood, it may run t alarm but not t oil pump, remove it from the tank and let it drain then turn on t key and see if it pumps.
