Humber engine mount

Just got back into the scene again!! sold my Ribcraft 4.8 and bought a Humber Ocean Pro and putting A Mariner 90 f/s on its tail, first of all, are they centrally mounted on the Transom or are they offset slightly to take care of torque??
i know its a bit late but is it a good match??? engine and boat??

I would think mount the engine 1 inch off set to the right but i'm no expert!!!
engine could be a bit heavy if it is the narrow beam
