Err no, seem to remember someone else mentioning it on here. But do a search and its even worse, Brian and Alan both reporting 11ppl between 2001 and 2003 guess trawler skippers won't be taken for a ride.

From YBW.com but dated Apr 04

Cheapest fuel I have found is at Kyle of Loch Alsh at 17p/liter. Contact the harbour master for fueling times. This is commercial price fuel (for fishing fleet) not marina price fuel. any quantity from 5 gallons upwards. Jerry can or along side refuelling
The full list of prices folks are reporting is at:

Yeh, but it's got to be bang up to date. 2 years ago I changed me central heating from Calor to oil. 14p/lt against 32p/lt for propane. Filled the tank last week...35.7p/lt plus vat. The price changes daily. So it is with diesel.

Interestingly, propane is still around 30-32p/lt.

Just before the Iraq invasion the oil price had collapsed - down to about $14 a barrel - lowest ever.

Then Bush and Blair went on their search for WMDs and the oil price is now $60!!!

Of course when the oil price was down to $14 we in the UK didn't really notice because of the stupid levels of fuel tax we have to pay!!!
