Hi all
Considering this for putting on my Achilles inflatable SIB 3.75m. Dealer asking £750.
Are they good , light to carry, easy on fuel , reliable
Any information or opinions appreciated.

I usually buy Yamaha's, but I accidentally ended up with 2 of these (1999 Evinrude version and a 2006 Johnson)

I was really surprised, nice engine, quiet, smooth and light 36kg ish. The 99 sold for £850 and the 2006 for £1050, both on ebay.

Thanks to some issues with bigger Johnsons in the past there is a certain stigma to the name, however if the engine runs as it should, £750 seems a fair price.

I too ended up with one on my Aerotec, wouldn't swap it for a Yamaha now!

Sounds a fair price if in good condition and well serviced.
