Jurassic Park

Proof that Dinosaurs are alive and living in South Hampshire.

All the doubters of these big old Suzuki 2-strokes take heed.

My DT200EFI started almost immediately today after a 2.5yrs rest and using 3yr old fuel.

It settled down to a nice idle and pumped water well.

It seams a shame really to take it off and replace it with my newly purchased 2003 225 Opti, but it does have a bit of a thirst at anything over @25Knots.

Wish I knew you couldn't rotate video as easy as an image!!!

No idea, if I remember correctly it was probably Morrisons standard pump fuel.

Now you've opened a can of worms! your wrong on two counts it cant possibly run properly on shite supermarket fuel & if its 3 years old it will have absorbed masses of water and wil instantly self destruct your engine.
Queue the expensive fuel lovers for an explanation [emoji6][emoji6][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Gotta love the sound of a big two stroke though

Glorious isn't it.

It's the closest I'll ever get to owning something that sounds as good as an 80's 500 V4 2-stroke GP bike.

Yep, fantastic isn't it.

Lovely Crackle that only a 2-stroke addict can appreciate.

I just hope the Opti sounds as good.

You’ll love the sound of the 225 opti, although to really appreciate it you need to be behind it, not in front of it!

Has a nice - and quite loud - burble at tickover
