It's not the motor that takes the time - its all the other stuff - control box and cables, wiring loom, oil feed. That's all got to go through that neat little conduit.
When we swapped out my old 150 opti for a new one it took my mechanic and me a whole day. Ok, so we did tidy up the steering and a bit of cabling along the way but it was needed.
