Does anyone have a 14" pitch prop to suit a Merc 50hp, non-bigfoot, 3.5" gearcase?

Maybe, If you can wait a couple of months for me to finish the rebuild & run it in.

I never got it running at WOT for long enough before it killed itself to find out if I needed to re- prop, but based on the 30 seconds or so it ran, I may have one going spare.

It's one of the smaller diameter ones (equivalent in diameter to a Yam "speed" prop) on the Clamshell. I forget it's actual diameter, but can find out tonight.

Out of curiosity (and assuming you will have one that could be swapped) what have you got that doesn't work on yours?

Thanks - I can wait a couple of months.

I've run it with 3 different pitch props: 12" and 13" were both too fine and the 15" was too coarse, so you can see where my conclusion is leading......
The motor's max rpm is 6000 and it only reached 5600 with 1 person on board, running the 15", so I reckon 14" should be spot on.
I've still got the 12" and 15", but the 13" was only with me on a temporary basis.

Ok, thanks for checking anyway. Let me know what you need when yours is run-in.

Wanted Dead or Alive a 17" CCW/LH Evinrude prop.

In my continued search for a 17" CCW/LH prop with an Evinrude fitment I am offering a Genuine BRP Viper 21" CCW/LH rotation prop as a swap. It's in immaculate condition and very Shiny

If you know of the where abouts of any 17" CCW/LH props with a 15 tooth spline suitable for a V6 Evinrude Gearcase, please let me know?

I've got a Mercury Vengeance LH 14.5x17p BNIB.
Unfortunately it's one of a CR pair so not really in my interest to swap it for another different LH! If you had any nice RH props to do a deal with then I could be interested, wouldn't be the end of the world if I ended up with 2 different RH props.

I've got twin CR motors but these Vengeance's are never going to be of use on my boat so splitting the pair and having a selection of RH props could work just for loaning out to single rig owners

I used to have quite a selection of RH Yam and Merc props, but were sold after the sale of my last boat.

I did try a Vengeance RH prop years ago which didn't hold fond memories for me. Obviously different boat and different engine. But still, it wouldn't be my first choice if I had to buy without trying it. Does the Vengeance use a Flo torq hub?

props wanted

Hi

further to a previous thread and a bit of investigative googling Mercury/Mariner are recomending the following for my set up.

if anyone has any of the following on ready to fit condition (no refurbs etc) please let me know.

the motor is a 2002 Mariner 60 ELPT EFI 4 stroke, not Bigfoot.

10.625x12
10.375x13
10.75x12
10.5x13
10.875x11

Makes me realise the 23 pitch on it at the moment is miles out and also explains the 3500rpm WOT

I've not used the vengeance but I get the impression they're designed more for smaller, lightweight hulls which would tie in with your experience with them. I would happily let you try it for the cost of postage but being brand new it'd be a shame to render it s/h when it's probably no good to you.
(I think the fact that I paid 99p for it on fleabay is irrelavent)

My experience was with a smaller hull (BWM Deepsea 17 and 90 Merc).
Will it fit straight to the Evinrude or will I need an adaptor?

You'll need a Flo-torq adaptor part number 835266Q1 for a V6 2 stroke.

"The Vengeance is Mercury’s general-purpose line of stainless steel propellers – providing Mercury quality and amazing durability at a price that represents real value for the dollar. The Vengeance provides increased top speed, acceleration, and durability versus a comparable aluminum prop."

Taken from the merc site and tells you nothing!
