Loss of power after 10 minutes

Hi

I have a Suzuki dt 55

I have an issue where after 10 minutes of running the power drops right down to 25%

I thought this might be fuel starvation as the line to the tank was slightly kinked so have replaced this and the issue remains

Can anyone suggest what this might be?

Sometimes it seems to be pumping water fine other times it's just a trickle, could it be that the engine has overheated and has gone in to a cut down mode perhaps?? The impeller had also been recently replaced

Thanks!

Fixed tank or portable?
When this happens have you tried loosening the tank cap to see if it cures the problem?

RIBase
Do you get episodes of reduced cooling water via the telltale before the engine RPM drops.

It's a portable tank but can't move and no kinks in the fuel line, tank cap is nicely open

I believe there is reduced water coming out when the engine is down on power but can't be sure
