Loss of reverse

Had an intermittent problem with the Marina yesterday. When trying to go into reverse nothing happened just rev’s. Got the boat out and ran on hose pipe to have a quick look, prop turning OK and all looked fine. I am going to call time on this years days out and put her in for a full winter service but would like to know what the problem could be. Last time out about seven weeks ago all was sweet. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be good. Thanks

Neal it could be anything from control box, to cable worn or gearbox, off to see Dean in Bursledon.
