Loss of speed

Have lost speed,
0 knots to 12knots ok, more throttle no more speed to max throttle, notice hull vibration,which I put down to high rpm and the rev limiter cutting in.
Am I experiencing a slipping prop?
There is no sign of damage to the prop and it appears the engine/gears/drive are working.
The prop is a Stainless Steel Solas D3 X 13 1/4 X 17RT on a Honda 90.
Have found out the nearest repair (Thats if it is the prop)is Steel Developments.
300+ miles away!

ANY INPUT MUCH APPRECIATED.

Ps.Have read Richard B`s threads oct/nov 03 which sound very similar, so I am leaning towards the slipping prop,new hub senario ! ??????????

Yes, sounds like it. A bush can slip even if you can't make it slip by hand (unless you're the Hulk)

Try it with a spare prop to make sure.

Best way of checking is dot mark the bose and the prop and go out 4 a blast and when u come back in if the marks are not lined up any more BINGO its the prop.
