Hi does anyone know the approximate value of a 2006 Mariner 15hp 2 stroke, short shaft with 40 hours good condition and running great.
Fuel line but no fuel tank. Thanks

So £1250 on here would be a bargain?

Be fair...800 or less is a bargain! But I'll double Matt's offer...100 quid, and I'll actually transfer 100k to your account to avoid complex inheritance issues down here in Dorset......

Yeah its mint except a few chips on the rear sticker, I don't want to split my Y class and then find that I've over valued the outboard

Staggering prices for nice short shaft 2 strokes at the moment

I think you're generally in the right money at £1200ish (most would expect a tank with it though) or so maybe a bit less for a quicker sale as dealers aren't far off that price but money on these is generally going only one way over the last few years. Seeing as cash gets you about 1% net at present it might be best sat in the garage going up in value.
Check eBay for completed listings though, a 2006 Mercury 15 was listed on a BIN at £595 but the seller must have been an imbecile...
I've watched older tattier Mariners in the last few weeks being bid at 700 to 925. As you know I'm looking for a side gear lever model and a dealer was offering me a reasonable 2002 example at £875. Yours is much later and cleaner though and probably more desirable to most with tiller gears.

Not sure on that as really the most desirable 2 smoke engines are the much smaller SIB friendly models, probably top of the tree are the Twat 9.8 and Yam 15 with the Mercury, Mariner, Twat 15s not far behind.

It's an identical engine/condition to mine which I'd be confident on Ebay would bid to £1275-£1500 at this time of year.
£1250 is still a fair price though.
