Mariner 25 hp age and power rating ???

Hi, yesterday i bought a mariner shortshaft outboard for my sib, i was told it was a spare engine with the RNLI , a 25 hp mariner, 2001.
Could someone in the know confirm age and HP with the engine serial number. On the leg it says 09977105 and the stamp on the engine just says 9977105.
Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks , at least it's a 25, the carb looked quite a bit smaller than my evinrude 1984 25 hp so i was a bit worried, can live with it being a little bit older as it seems to be in very good nick..
There is a sticker on it saying 100:1 fuel mix, any idea if that is correct or should it be 50:1
sorry about all the questions

It wont be an RNLI engine, they never used that one. It will be Ex Royal Marines or Ex Special forces. The difference between the 2 is the Marines have an umbilical flushing system above the gearbox (looks like a black hose connector fixed with 4 stainless screw). It might have been de modified so this could have been removed but you will see where it was fitted.
They are fine on 100:1 but commercial use we used to recommend 50:1.

Side SH means side shift that engine had the option at the time to have either the standard side shift or tiller shift.
