Mariner 60hp 2stroke Service kit

Hi

Does anyone know of any dealers that sell Mariner/Mercury service kits?

Its for a Mariner 60hp 2 stroke outboard from 1998 and i would need 2. I have seen and bought them for yammies on ebay, wasn't too bad either but havent seen them for many other makes.

Thanks

Ed

Try Key parts in Watford, the last set of parts for a full service for my 60hp merc 2s was £69 perhaps a bit more now that VAT has gone back up.
They are very helpful and can supply either oem quicksilver parts or serria bits, which are slightly cheaper.

Thanks, i have sent them an email, see what they come back with.

I have had a quote from one ebay store of £79 inc p&p but i reckon i could get the seperate pieces for £56 so unless i can get a complete kit for around that price i may head down the seperates road.

I can't speak for ebay but that price I give you from Key parts included ALL the bits ie spin on filter, inline filter, plugs, fuel pump diaphram kit, 1 ltr of gear oil, gear oil drain screw washers, water pump impeller and inc vat. I prefer the OEM fuel pump kit as they are fiddily things at the best of times and I just think the OEM kit is a little better quality.

I think that's the lot.

Actually just had mine out on the lake today, went a treat but it was cold!

Good luck

Im waiting for the weather to improve before i take the boat for a spin.

I have emailed Key Parts so will wait for their quote. Had another ebay quote today which was £133 inc p&p for 2 kits, which isnt too bad. Also had a quote from a local Mariner dealer of £140 to £160 for him to service them both, so that is now an option if i cant get the kits much cheaper.
