Mariner 60hp(yamaha) approx age 85 ish, Dying after 10 mins

Has anyone had this problem?

I have recently purchased a mariner 60hhp two stroke twin cylinder outboard, the problem is that it runs fine for about 10 mins then starts to lose power and missfire., it doesnt stop altogether but if left to cool down for a while will start ok and run again but not for as long.

I have checked for obvious visible faults and fuel line, I believe it may be electrical,it appears that the ignition system is new but the coils are original.

I could do with info from anyone who has had a similar problem

Robert

Ignore that just read your first bit again and does sound as though when hot something is cracked on electric side
