Mariner 689 rebuild pistons

I've noticed a slow decline of performance of my 1992 Mariner 30ELO 689 L 550973 over the summer, I did a compression test and found that both cylinder compression's have dropped to 90psi so time for a rebuild as the engine itself is very clean for its age. So strip down done and bottom piston is scored with quite a bit of piston slap on both. So the two questions are......

I'm looking for 2 new piston kits (+50) believe to be quicksilver 761-8486M any recommendation for a uk supplier who doesn't charge £100+ per kit?

Secondly if my research is correct, the 2 cylinder 2 stroke was made by yamaha and a majority of the parts are interchangeable in the 689 series so the yamaha piston kit 689-11636-00-00 should be the same. same with the gasket kits?

Had a couple of beers so keeping this brief. ... if you Google "Mallory pistons" you will not only get links to the one I can't remember the name of but begins with an S but will also see much smaller numbers with your chosen currency symbol beside them.

Mallory vs the other one? Good Q. Allegedly both make for the OEMs.
