mariner 90ELPTO 2stroke jammed

hi guys,
i jammed my good old 90elpto, built around 2001.
dont ask how…

we have zero compression on the worst piston now…

as i dont want to rebuild the whole setup i am looking for solutions to get going again.
i hear a whole head unit (head block?) is too expensive?

so i am looking for offers for a used 90elpto mercury/mariner from around that time, the newer the better (but before 2006 approx., pre optimax times). or any other repair tip.

I have a very good used Mercury 90 ELPTO on the back of my rib, I'm considering upgrading to a 4 stroke or ETEC.

The Merc is 1998, great condition, just had full service inc carb clean, plugs, oil, impeller and new engine mounts and gaskets all round. Runs very nicely and starts 1st time every time hot or cold.

Would consider offers on that if you're interested. Its located in Poole, Dorset. Certainly not spares / repairs, but you could fit this one and keep your old one for spares..?
