Easy way to test the alarm.....

Pull the Lanyard kill switch out, and try and start it. You should get a alarm going off.

thanks for the information on testing it will do that today ,,, i still need help on why its got no water spray comeing out the back still ?

from memory dont think mine does-just nothing happens when you turn the key. In fact I think the only time I have heard the alarm from my merc 90 was when it really meant it! and was shortly followed by a loud noise and then a prolonged silence from the motor Similar to the reaction you get when you forget the wife's birthday
