Hi, I have a 40hp 2001 mariner, short shaft manual start and tilt.

Could anyone tell me the exact weight?

Hi Nik. Prob not much help as you want exact weight for you 40hp but I have a 2001 Mariner 30hp short shaft manual start and tilt and it weights 51kg.

the weight is on the s/n decal, to find the age google brunswickmarine, go onto the download centre, click on registrations and there you are. If it just shows the model year , and no date of registration then all you can go with is the model year date. If there is a registration date that is the age of the obm.Easypeasy it will also show the weight in the front of the owners handbook.
