Mariner Engines

Hi all
I am trying to get the manual for my engine but have a problem as I am not 100% sure when it was made.
Have tried finding a site for Mariner with the hope of getting some more info from the engines serial number, but canot find anything. Does anyone know of a site for them? Are "Mariner" still trading as a company? I know most of their engine blocks are manufactured by Yamaha, but cannot find anything there either.
Otherwise, anyone have a UK contact number or email for "Mariner Customer Services"?
Thanks in advance.
Andy.

Andy

Call Andy Clark at Bosun's Mate on 01342 870867 or email him at sales@bosunsmate.co.uk

He's a walking talking outboard encyclopaedia, and if he doesn't know the answer he'll know where to find it! He's quite local to you as well, which might be useful

John

I can second that...........

Andy knows an astoundingly large amount about Outboard engines. And he's a nice chap to boot!

Mariner are imported by EP Barrus in Bicester. Don't have their website I'm afraid.

Cheers,
Alan

Mariner website

Mariner are a subsidiary of Mercury and their website is at http://www.mercurymarine.com/cgi-bin...jsp?page_id=10

The site uses cookies, and this link appears to function, but if not you may have to enter via the Mercury site, mariner can be found under the products and services heading.

mariner manual

I have found a site which appears to be selling manuals for most manufacturers, some of them appear to be generic, covering a wide model range rather than specific model, e.g."Mercury/Mariner Outboard Shop Manual: 75-275 HP 1994-1997" priced at $29.56.

They can be found at http://www.crazie.com/books/outboard.html
