Mariner Tilt/Trim Fitting

Silly but hopefully a simple question...

Can all Mariner outboards be fitted with trim and tilt mechanisms and are they standard fittings on all engines?

In particular I m thinking about my Mariner 30.

Not all models. You can retro fit a PTT system if they make a PTT model of your engine ie. 40EL, and 40ELPTT, but it will involve changing the clamp brackets, control box with a trim switch and adding some solenoids to the engine. It is more hasle and money than it is really worth to convert an engine to PTT IMHO.
