Mercruiser 1.7 = Y17DT ?

Hi,

I have a Mercruiser 1.7dti with a hole in the block and cylinder head is out of
rescue ,valve broke and smashed everything =(.

I have read that the Mercruiser 1.7 diesel is a Opel/Vauxhall/Isuzu Y17DT
engine. Does somebody know for sure that the internal components are the same?
And if I buy an Y17DT car engine and want to move all marine components to it,
does everything fit without modification?
