Mercury 115 Optimax Issues (Limp Mode)

Hi Folks, New to this forum
One of our clients recently contacted us in regards to an issue with there 115 optimax outboard mercury 2 stroke, the oil alarm sounded when travelling and the client topped up the engine with the correct oil, however the engine then failed to rev above a certain level.

The vessel has a smartwatch gauge and it is showing 0 Psi

Any advice on this issue?

Does it require some kind of reset to get it out of "Limp Mode"?
Failing that, it might have drawn air into the oil line & need re-priming

If there is an oil tank on the side of the engine fed by an oil tank that is separate it will need priming as Dave says. Run the engine on tick over and take the cap off the oil tank on the engine. Keep eyes on and the cap handy. The tank will fill and keep filling. Put the cap on when full all the air will be out

looks like driver run the engine to the last drop of oil, you have to prime the oil circuit.
