Mercury 135hp V6 (1997)

Hi,
Has anyone experienced random cutting out of this type of engine whilst running? Engine can be running fine and then cut out completely and not start again. Leave it a while and it goes again. Obviously an annoying intermittent fault. Fuel been checked and ok, isolator switch checked and ok. Deadman switch ok.
If anyone as any ideas on what this problem could be would appreciate to hear.
Cheers.
