Mercury 150-175-200 Verado

Hi Guys

Just started a complete refurb of a Ribtec 655, (Ex Camel Trophy) and will repower with a complete new engine.

Thinking Mercury Verado compared to normal Mercury (EFI) in the range from 150-200 Hp.

Any experience ? I dont see the 175 Verado here in Denmark before.

Cheers from Denmark

Thomas

I've got a an older 6.5m ribtec... Originally had the opti 175 on it which was cracking... Recently had a 175 Verado fitted... Hasn't got quite the low down grunt of the opti and you can tell you have an extra 30 odd kg on the back but it handles it very well and still goes like stink
