Mercury 2007 8hp 4 stroke - cutting out

Hi - I've got the above engine and a couple of times its just cut out on me while I'm motoring along.

It starts again with a couple of pulls straight away. The fuel bulb seems firm and I've got a good tell tale of water peeing out. It starts great from cold too. Overall its a great engine, just with this slight niggle.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

Thanks

Rupe

Seen this a few times, the carbs need a little tweek!. Or you might have some muck in the carb.
